This Holy Week was one mad dash for my family. From Subic to Makati to Home to Laguna, and now back home again. Tiring, but fun. Beginning to slow down and settle back into the city’s rhythm, digesting anaconda-like all the food I stuffed in over the holidays, setting my alarm for tomorrow.
Ran with a group over the track at Subic and with a handful of friends on the grassy camp site in Laguna. Just short distances, in time for sinful breakfast buffets. Running with friends while on vacation makes the whole thing fun, but I still prefer running alone in a familiar route. It helps me take my mind off where I’m running so I can reflect more, allow ideas to cut loose, and listen to myself.
